At Critter Hill Farm we are very conscious of our animals health and welfare insuring that they live happy and healthy lives on our farms. With this being said since we have several extensive breeding programs on the farm, we do use antibiotics as need for necessary medical attention. This is only used when needed for our breeding herd of cows, pigs, goats and rabbits if they are are in need of medical attention due to injury or sickness. When we provide this medical attention we are using basic antibiotics such as penicillins and mycin based antibiotics. We encourage our customers to ask questions regarding this topic so that we can help provide a better understanding.
Critter Hill Farm is an active member of the Maryland Hereford Association and the American Hereford association. We are also avid volunteers in the 4-H programs in Maryland.
